Snowflake Obsidian is natural glass,composed primarily of silicon dioxide that contains internal inclusions (crystallites) of Phenocryst which produce the snowflake appearance when polished. It is normally black and opaque, with the appearance of white to gray "snowflakes". Snowflake Obsidian is known as "the stone of purity", it is very good at helping to create serenity and sensitivity to love and beauty.
