I bought one each of the 128 mm and the 96 mm as a sample before ordering more. The finish is smooth with no ridges or ends to snag fingers or clothing. The handles are very solid (and hefty) compared to other types I have looked at. When mounted on a door, the fit to the surface makes them appear to come right out of the wood. Very impressive. I am now ordering about 30 for my kitchen and two bathrooms. AND the price is very reasonable....$90 total for kitchen/bathrooms.
